China Day 4. Getting lost in translation
by jc on 23 Jun 2010 @11:14PM under : Backpack, clickers | Tags

Look where I found this stow-away.

Apparently, he’s very VERY hungry. When I got home after we got a little lost, he even got the guts to dig in into my KFC egg custards.

And yes. They have egg pies in KFC China. Yes, they fucking do. And they have REALLY sad fries, too.

Oh! And they have green Oreos here, too! Green! Oreos! :O

Obviously, I’m getting a kick out of posting food. Sorry. I’m trying not to get fat, but they have a LOT of goddamn interesting food around here. And I thought the vegetarian would starve! Apparently, they still have a LOT of noodles to make all struggling vegetarians survive.

Oh. And here’s the interesting pics of the day. I’m making up because I didn’t have anything for Day 2. Because I got lazy to bring a cam. Psssh.

China Expo 2010? It’s all about colors.

But Shanghai in daytime is still a drab. But! I got a message from our office crush while in Shanghai in daytime!

[4:05:36 PM] Robert Robles: you in china yet?
[4:05:57 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: Hey!
[4:06:01 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: Yeah, we are. :)
[4:06:08 PM] Robert Robles: nice – how goes it so far
[4:06:24 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: It’s good.
[4:06:25 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: Everything’s industrial.
[4:06:43 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: That’s positive talk for “everything resembles a factory.”
[4:06:44 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: :D
[4:07:49 PM] Robert Robles: ha
[4:07:49 PM] Robert Robles: yeah
[4:08:02 PM] Robert Robles: my sister lived there for a couple of years
[4:08:09 PM] Robert Robles: big boxes
[4:08:11 PM] Robert Robles: everywhere
[4:10:54 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: *laughs*
[4:10:57 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: Yeah.
[4:11:13 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: It’s clean, though. But it’s really hard to communicate.
[4:11:23 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: Thank god for hands and expressions. :D
[4:11:37 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: Is it like this for the whole china? Or just Shanghai?
[4:12:30 PM] Robert Robles: everywhere
[4:12:40 PM] Robert Robles: shanghai is the easiest place actually…
[4:12:44 PM] Robert Robles: so suffice it to say…
[4:12:45 PM] Robert Robles: good luck?
[4:12:46 PM] Robert Robles: :)
[4:13:31 PM] JC Hernaez Pagtakhan: Really? Wow. This is easy? *laughs*

Shit. Kinikilig ako. hahahahahahah. Ahem. Sorry, One. :D
