    Quickpress: soliloquy daiquiri
by jc on 3 Feb 2010 @04:36AM under : Daily Mundane Life | Tags

    When your plane climbed
    and banked southeast
    I thought,
    “He’s never coming back.”
    Yeah, it sounds cheap
but when you take my heart
    I’m gonna take it back.

Oh baby, when your eyes close
    you’re so terrified, so terrified.
    So am I.
    You’re so terrified, so terrified.
    So am I.

You could be waiting all your life.
And it’s so wrong to wait.

    - Rainer Maria

Word of the day: Evanescent. I came across it while randomly checking the meaning of some other word. I’m familiar with it, but it’s just now that it has struck me how beautiful the word is. Kind of like…Ethereal. Some words that when you roll in your tongue, it immediately makes you feel fancy.

Evanescent. To vanish into a vapor like state.

It reminds me of Transient.Or Transience. There’s just something so peaceful with that word, even if it means you’re temporary. Even much so when you combine them: Transience to evanescence.

Goodbye. I need to go into evanescence.
