Vertical Horizon is performing in Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Manila on Friday, December 7th. Along with them, is Rivermaya for the opening act along with new frontman Jayson Fernandez, and this stand-up comedian, Jamie Kennedy.

I absolutely hate work for making me not available on that night. Siiiiiiigh.

But you say, JC, are you even a fan? Are they even that good enough for you to consider shelling out 1kPHP just for a near defunct band? Are they better than Beyonce (which you're not too big of a fan of but passed up on free tickets due to some unfortunate tiff)?

Well. They arouse early childhood/teenhood memories. They're good enough. Para silang Britney Spears nung hindi pa siya cup D. Or Spice Girls nung hindi pa nagkakaroon ng sooper yummy husband si Victoria at hindi pa kinakaila ni Eddie Murphy si Melanie B. They are, undeniably still, good.

Siiiiiiiiiiiigh.

Definitely better than Sell Out, este, Fall Out Boy.

  2. JC Says:

Have you seen the prices? GA is P500orsophp. Next price is 1K, next is 1,5k. Grabe. That’s a little mahal for a trip down the memory lane. :(

What DID happen to them anyway?

  3. amoo Says:

alam ko they broke up eh. ewan maybe they got together again :) pero sure sign na laos na sila. they’re playing Manila. hahaha

  4. jc Says:

ang yabang mo naman, Tina. :D Joke lang. Hahahahaha. but yeah, you are so right. :D Kumusta na si J? ^_^

  5. jp Says:

So, does that mean laos na rin si Beyonce? :D

Well, I had a microscopic Brandon Boyd for 550 bucks. Mas mahal pa nga yung WWE tickets. Besides, kapresyo lang niya Avenue Q tickets. Wanna watch? :D

    Hello, I’m Googlebot

  7. jc Says:

Hindi laos si Beyonce. I think. Haha. Let Tina defend her answer. :p Eh kasi bands go play concerts on areas they feel they’re gonna be a hit, di ba? If they go to the Philippines, sure ball yung hype kasi laos na lahat sa iba, sa atin hindi pa rin. HEHEHEHEHEHEHE.

  8. jp Says:

I beg to differ. Ang daming sikat sa Europe na hindi sikat dito. Eg, Kulay prior to winning MTV Euro Awards. Hehehe…

About the Blog

This blog has been revamped to now become a schizophrenic blog / MPD blog. And yes, I'm dead serious. After all, it is fun to write in someone else's point of view, personality, or even life, without necessarily explaining yourself. And there are a lot of things going on in the author's mind right now that we can't even begin to decipher, let alone understand. So we have the personalities to express them.

Currently we have three authors going around the site: JC, Nikolai, and Alexis. But we'll never know when another personality might emerge.

All of those tagged under the other personalities are fiction. All of them. But they may have some resemblance to real life.

About the Author

On her spare time, she tries her hands on better web design, and reads as much books as she can. She believes that Stephanie Meyer's such a huge waste of money, but hey, if you happen to have her series, lend her anyway. She currently a nomad.
