I found this image through blog hopping.

Sigh. Geez. I miss my shitzu. I know, I know, this IS a cat. but it’s a fluffy and adorable one at that. Mine’s adorable and fluffy too, except most of the time he’s just icky and dirty. Heh.
I would have liked to bring him over to the apartment and maybe ask my mum to let him stay there, but as much as Ger adored Skippy, she hates pets in general, and hates my own dog the minute my back is turned. Okay, maybe hate is too big a word. Extreme dislike is more like it. Chances are she’d have us sleep in the corridors the moment I bring him over.
Although, it’s safer to bring him around, than let’s say, an old fat zen buddhist-type orange cat. Ger loves HER CAT and nothing else, and maybe CAN be swayed to agree to another fluffy kitten around, but see, we have an air bed. I don’t like the idea of possibly waking up to a deflated heap of rubber one morning. And the windows are open at night too, so the chances of morning roadkills are uber high.
Anyway. I wasn’t supposed to blog, but I really kind of miss it. It’s not that I’m NOT SUPPOSED TO, but I have been saving most of my entries in Dothan’s hard drive, and I’m just letting things pass till I can finally blog complete with graphics. Who’s Dothan? THAT’s exactly why I don’t want to blog yet. I’ve got lots of stories that would be better off with images, which I couldn’t complete because of work stuff. I’ll be posting some of those outputs as soon as we’re done.
So there. Friday will see SMB Octoberfest, and we’ll see if we can drop by. Maybe I can ask my brother to sponsor me on another event when he comes home. Saturday also has Cris’ gig in Saguijo, so those of you who are available, I’m promising a nice line-up. Although I liked their first stretch better.
Oh well. Stay on the pedestrian lanes when crossing always, guys.
I need to pause for a frigging break. Amp. Sobrang inis ko sa work and I can’t think. If I don’t pause I just might find myself for a cig and that’s not good. Kasi naman. Alam naman kasing pag urgent notes sa system kailangan magassign ng different font and colors para sooper readable. Yung tipong screaming-magenta-with-bold-as-font-weight-pota-andito-ako-pag-hindi-mo-pa-ba-naman-ako-nabasa-ay-sobrang-tanga-ka-na type of headers. Eh dahil hindi naka different font, hindi ko nabasa yung isang note, dali na naman ako. Psshh. So much for the idea of efficiency.
(or dahil nagmamadali lang ako at hindi nagbasa)
Sigh. It’s a good thing Andi’s here—she makes everything better for now. Andi, the current distraction of the month. Well, at least it’s a step up from my perennial crush—Ellen Merriam Adarna—because she’s twentysumthing. Ellen Adarna. Wow. 22 and I’m still an eligible candidate for possible coverter of minors . Apparently adding a year to my age doesn’t change taste. :p But anyhow, I met Andi Manzano through a common friend’s links from a blog hopping spree at an idle time at work and it was an immediate hit-off. We have such a lot of things in common that it makes you think everything was so serendipitous:
Okay, maybe not a lot.
Oh, but wait! She likes dogs, and she has a gay close friend too (Mo’s gay, right?), so that’s like, three things. But still. She almost looks like Ellen Adarna except I have a feeling she’s more wholesome. So that’s a good thing, right? At least it’s not likely that you would see naked pictures of her all over the net and ruin your beautiful perception of her. Then again, all of Zhang ZiYi’s movies, according to JP, always have sex scenes, and I’m still a huge fan.
So basta. Back to Andi. So yun nga, I have this fleeting affinity with her for like three seconds, and then moved on to admiration. Kasi naman. Parang Donita Rose. It’s almost amazing how these quasi-pop people are very religious considering they’re aesthetically perfect. Hmm. Okay lang. Basta it’ll make me sigh every once in a while, pwede na.^_^
