Thailand’s PM ousted in military coup
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060919/ap_on_re_as/thailand
I wonder what’s up on the government of Thailand. I don’t have much news about it now, since my dad used to be updated with stuff like that then.
But I remember how we went to Thailand circa 1995 (or was it 1996?) and how people are crazy over their king. Apparently he was tagged as a very sincere person and has brought so much strength to Thailand over his reign. They were in fact scared of the heir–his eldest son–whose reputation is far from the father’s genuine kindness.
I remember how my mum told me her experience about this chambermaid who always came to pick up the laundry and clean up the room. She would always come in 8am promptly, and would clean everything without much question. But my mum noticed how the maid would always make a face whenever she would give a tip. She thought maybe it was because she was giving tips too low. Finally, sometime on the week before we left, she gave her again her usual tip, but this time, she’s not showing an angry face anymore. Then my mum noticed that what she gave, for the first time, was a crisp bill. It was then that she came to a conclusion that they loved their king so much that they didn’t like even their money crumpled because of the king’s beloved face printed on paper.
Imagine that. If such loyalty can be aroused, it must mean that the king must be compassionate enough to win their hearts.
++++++++
David Michael William Moffatt was already gay when he was a kid. I knew that. But he was cute. so our lives moved on.
A few years of prepubescence later, I was so right. Although shocked. Because he’s gay, alright, but still oh so yummy.
Dang it.

I’m sorry, my dear brother, but he looks like you. Yes, he’s the cute guy in…is that floral? shirt in the middle, sandwiched by the two abhorring druggists and a ghastly looking guy, extreme left. They all look like they needed proper food, proper clothing, and proper bath.
In short, dugyot.
In all fairness to Dave, he braved the world despite his status then; which, if you’re going to think about it, isn’t too glamorous especially if you’re being chased around by prepubescent girls and prepubescent gay kids. If they can’t make a song popular, might as well make yourself popular for being true. Oh well.
Anyhow, as for the other brothers, the two as we all know has an album which turned out to be Thailand based, that being it was never released in the US and Canada. The eldest is braving a solo album which promises of a distinctly Scott Moffatt tune. Yech. It’s the comeback of the chipmunk with facial hair.
So anyhow, I’m happy for him. As much as I’m happy for Lance Bass who might be the first gay on the moon, and Stephen Gately, who doesn’t exist anymore, and even that Westlife guy whom I don’t even know what his name is. I’m happy for all of you. Now at least donate some of your genes to make the world look a little more physically acceptable. Thanks.

So with our local money, even the coins are rubbed on tha pavement or you pull them out of jeepney driver’s earlobes. wahehehe! Ew.
September 20th, 2006 at 8:49 pm
maybe because we couldn’t care less for our money, that’s why sometimes we get to have a crumpled bill with a lot of scotch tape on it, *sigh*
and some of our low life gamblers use it to play “cara cruz.” in other countries, they use every cent of their money. but us, if we get a 5 cent coin ( the coin with a hole, talk about the candy “polo” ) we tend to ignore it and give a smirk to the person who gave it to us. hahaha! unbelievable but true.
what’s this story about gays? i’m beginning to think that you are like jessica zafra. she’s a fag hag. yet she’s genius.i like her stuff and her friends, Danton Remoto, who happens to be gay. it’s not that i’m gay or anything it’s such that i envy them. they know how to dress properly without looking “baduy” , and a lot of them are friggin genius on their field.
gup evening.
September 20th, 2006 at 8:58 pm
btw, how’s the result of your exam??
September 20th, 2006 at 11:43 pm
Oh my God! Yes he does look like your brother *Ger drools over and experiences O****m! But I wish he builds his body more tho.. Argh! But he’s somebody I know who fancies polo shirts/blouses.. tsk tsk!
September 21st, 2006 at 1:16 am
GER: Yes he does, doesn’t he? Makes me want to wish he’s not in my bloodline. Then I’d jump in his room one day and… *interesting information deleted* Maybe I should make a living out of him. Charge P500 for every girl who wants him alone. 15 minutes. And they’d want more so I’d definitely make a killing out of it. Nyahahahahaha. *uber-evil sister laugh* Start marketing him in your room now. Make JC famous.

Deej: Heey, Dj!
Too much of a compliment if likened to Jessica Zafra, but we both share a liking for gays, indie revolution and Ralph Fiennes. *gush* Yeah, I used to read a lot of Twisted and Ladlad, but with the issue of gays…the world is just too darn gay for everyone to be straight. Haha.
And about the money, I guess we’d be caring much about it too if our president has given a significant contribution to the country and stopped doing those “public service” commercials with whiney ladies on the screen thanking her profusely for a service they should have gotten in the first year of her term in the first place.
September 21st, 2006 at 2:27 am
Can I be the first in line? Don’t you have any complimentary pass? Ahaha!
September 21st, 2006 at 2:39 am
hahaha.
thought you’re not going online today, i’ve been patiently refreshing your blogspot just to check you’re online. anyhow, P500 is not enough this days, you should charge at least a thousand bucks, then again, who will bite that? ger??
just kidding
the mad-damn ( ???? looks good than madamme ) president is too busy to notice that our economy is struggling.
so how’s the exam yesterday?
September 21st, 2006 at 3:14 am
DJ: Had you seen her brother, money is not a question.
and the president - if we’re to take her outta there, who do you have in mind to replace her?
Jc: Sweetie, I’m only kidding (not JOKING) about your bro - peace.
September 21st, 2006 at 3:37 am
ger: so for you he’s yummy??
hahaha my apologies for that, haven’t seen her brother though.
and for the president, just get her out of the palace. i don’t have anyone in mind to replace her. still i have a dream that someday that we will going to have a president that doesn’t have the word “corruption” in his/her list.
will that dream come true??
naaaahhh, i don’t think so.
as long as the people don’t change, it will never happen.
September 21st, 2006 at 3:57 am
GER: No. I love you, but I need to make a living for us. Do you understand?
DJ: Online starts at around 12:30am, Manila time. That’s the start of my shift, if you would care to further know. Hehe. P500 is good enough. After all, who in her decent mind would want only 15 minutes with my brother?
Exam? It’s okay. It’s not really a make or break thing, but it was long, so I had to utilize my time well.
September 21st, 2006 at 4:22 am
you never know,
hehehe
just kidding. anyway, that’s a bit late to start the training. that’s why you’re having a hard time waking up.
i’m looking for a camera in the web right now. i’m eyeing the canon eos 300D or the 350D. nice specs, yet still i’m still thinking which of the two will i really buy.
as usual, i only got 7 calls for the day, and i have to make a callback because 3 of the calls i received passed the credit check yet they don’t have enough funds to pay the $20 processing fee!
arrrggghhh
how frustrating could life be…
September 21st, 2006 at 4:34 am
Life isn’t too perfect.
Argh, damn it. digital SLRs are still up around P30k. It’s a perfect waste of money for something too beautiful.
September 21st, 2006 at 4:54 am
yeah. “quality +name = PRICE”
that’s always the issue.
you sounded like my mom, reprimanding me everytime i am planning to buy
some new stuffs that’s worth more than her monthly pay. but then again, i always think, how come you guys, if ever you want to buy some new stuffs and we told you that it’s too expensive, you’re still going to buy that.
hmmmmm……
peace….hehehe
September 21st, 2006 at 5:37 am
HEY! I’m not reprimanding you for buying something expensive. I’m actually trying to tell myself not to buy that mostly because I now have a 4mp cam which works fine for me, but I AM a fanatic of pictures. So BELIEVE me, I’m taking your side. I want one as well.
And yeah, we get away with that because we’re such darling little creatures. Poor you.
September 21st, 2006 at 5:39 am
Haha! Talk about practicality on stuff*. tsk! like we’re buying a necessity.
September 21st, 2006 at 5:55 am
jc: i know, seen your previous post and seen your pictures, just one thing that bothers me, how come you have not post any picture yet??
do you still look like the kanto boy like your previous pic??
ger: d’you know this feeling like you want something since you are a kid and you know the fact that you can’t buy it because of lack of funds?? and yet right now, you are earning and still can’t buy those things that you like because the thought that next month they are going to launch a newer model. arrrrgggghhhhhh
September 21st, 2006 at 6:04 am
Dj: Well come to think of it, those things that you wanted when you were a kid, you can afford them now. The problem is not the things that we want, it’s our satisfaction level. IF you still want the same thing that you wanted when you were a kid, then probably, you were able to buy them now. Ugh! It’s just that, they were able to come up with a new JAGUAR and life gets complicated all over again. haha!
September 21st, 2006 at 6:06 am
GER: I’m sorry, but photowhoring is a necessity.
DJ: No, I’m a little less kanto boy na.
I have lots of pictures especially since last month we went to Galera, problem is I barely spend time with the photoshop now. It even reflects my site, I mean, I have to stick with a template. Hopefully, if I get time, I’d be posting pictures soon. I brought my cam and my disk reader to the apartment, so maybe if I’d give a little effort, I’d be logging in to a net cafe and bring justice to my website. mwahaha. And yeah, I understand that with technology being too fast paced. My 2mp cam got phased out in just a year.
And it hurts you to buy something thinking you paid so much money for and in a few months, there’s going to be something better. Bad things is, there’s ALWAYS going to be something better.
September 21st, 2006 at 6:13 am
Jc: Hmm.. Food, Shelter, Clothing, & Photowhoring. NICE concept.
September 21st, 2006 at 6:15 am
GER: Oh, hell yeah. And…*thinks twice* yeah. *Laughs*
September 21st, 2006 at 6:21 am
ger:come to think of it, yup, some of it comes from the satisfaction level. the level is high if the thing that you are craving for surpasses your expectation, and that usualy lasts in a week or for months, it depends on the regularity of how you use it. then the same company that sold you their stuff suddenly bursts your bubbles because they will release a better version.
life sucks!!!
jc: you mean to say that you still edit your photos? hahaha
the problem with technology today is that they are too fast and we can’t cope up with it. sure, they can make our life simpler, but still, if they are going to launch a new kind of technology, i just wish that it will be more affordable to the local market.
*bitter?*
:P hahaha
September 21st, 2006 at 6:43 am
DJ: Isn’t it that the reason why they come up with more stuff is because these things ARE getting more affordable for the masses? So they come up with something superior which would make some more “cutting-edge” than everyone. The market thrives that way. :p And yeah, I edit my photos. But mostly for cropping and less size in bytes. Or when there’s a need for further graphics. Or to take out the eyebags. :p
September 21st, 2006 at 6:50 am
hahaha!
that’s why i can’t seem to see any eyebags on your pics.
what, they are releasing a new version for, let’s say, 40 to 45 thousand and still the prevoius models are still worth 30 to 35 thousand? it’s still not cheap for the masses.
you still have to wait a few months or even a year to purchase that thing, and if you buy that, they are now obsolete on the market. ha! damn them companies!!!
September 21st, 2006 at 6:57 am
Power of Advertising and Marketing together. Making money! So as a consumer it’s wise buying. A question of NEED.
September 21st, 2006 at 6:58 am
Well. That’s why they’re rich. We ARE suckers.
)
I dunno. I’m still sticking to something especially if I can maximize it. I’m refraining from buying that twist-thingy music phone just because I recently bought an ipod and a music phone would be useless, although it’s too tempting. Even a p800, even if it’s a little old now. I currently have a 6260, but hey, if you can maximize it, if you can personalize it so much to fit the compatibility you like, then why not. I wasn’t even going to buy a better camera model except 4mp creates better/smoother pixel pictures and is great for printing. That’s just it.
September 21st, 2006 at 7:03 am
yup, sucker for life!
i can see them ( the companies ) right now, smiling at us . seeing that we are getting poorer and them getting reacher.
have to go now, still have to go to cavite city for my aunt’s wake.
see you around guys.
take care. God bless!!!!
September 21st, 2006 at 7:26 am
Wow. Cavite city ka? Hmm. Malapit ka lang sa house namin sa Cavite. :p
Ingat, Deej.
