Although chances are there might be some of these over at the comic hq in QC, but when was the last time I explored the city? I might get a ticket for just standing on the wrong street. Also a bad move to stop reading Megatokyo because they update almost three times a week, so that puts me behind so much. I used to be a year behind on the archives. now I have 10thousandfuckingyears to catch up on.

Oh. another reason why I don’t have the swipey: http://www.herbivoreclothing.com/hers.html

Check on the Praise Seitan hoodie. It gets soft daw after every wash. :P

So Ironic that those shirts promote VEGETARIANISM. I decided I’m not gonna give that up. ugh!

  2. jc Says:

I’m praising the existence of Seitan for you, really. That a bad thing?

  3. Ger Says:

    Nope. Not at all. :D

  4. dj Says:

    one word - “budget”

The best way to deal with credit problems is to develop good habits before problems start. You need to organize your finances and keep a budget. Even if you are experiencing cash flow problems, a budget is a powerful tool for helping you get out of debt and maintaining good credit afterwards.

    and - “control”

  5. jc Says:

Hey, DJ! Actually, my main problem then is that the legal age to get credit cards is 21, and I JUST turned 21. :) Expenses CAN be pretty hard though since most of the purchases I want to make would include international shipping and that can mean lotsa money. I don’t even need most of those. I agree about control, but hey, they’re tempting. :)

  6. dj Says:

my apologies. i thought you are already 22. maybe it’s because of your previous work at APAC. :) kidding! i myself have a credit card and i know it’s tempting to use buying books from eBay.
if you’re getting the plastic, just be sure you’re going to pay your balance before the due date. :)

  7. jc Says:

Yeah. It used to be a joke that I went to APAC at the age of 19 and everybody’s screaming child labor. :) I’ll have to see how my tolerance would be in terms of avoiding them plastics. But if I allow myself to have one and one day I find myself in dire need of money to pay the balance, I’ll let you know and ask for the greens. Heehee. :) Deej, just a Q: what’s your full name?

  8. dj Says:

dj don basa. :) why’d you ask? just a suggestion. if you’re getting the plastic, don’t activate it yet. just activate it if you really need to use it, so you will not be tempted. i’ve learned my lessons before, and thank God that i don’t owe them money ( HSBC ) anymore.

  9. jc Says:

Oh jeez. Now I’m confused. You’re not from our batch in GE, are you? I mean, I’m sorry, I kinda had this information that some people in my class are accessing my blog, so I always presume the comments come from them. *slaps head* Where are you located? I mean, how did you find my blog?

  10. dj Says:

this is starting to look like a chat scene. *laughs* :) just passed by your old blog, blackmoon and saw that you are getting a new blogsite. so i say, let me visit this place. :) the old contents are still here and new ones of course. m working right now at peoplesupport. thanks to the I.T. dept, they haven’t block this site yet. and i hope they won’t. :)

by the way, GE? as in the electric company, right? i wonder what kind of customer service you guys are doing there.

  11. jc Says:

Haha. this is turning out to be too funny. All my blunders are catching up with me. :) Well, we’re currently located in the south, that being in the compound which serves as the heart of all Alabang call centers: Northgate Cyberzone. :) But I guess since you’re amazingly familiar with APAC, you should know this place. Yup, GE, the famous General Electric. If you happen to pass by any old Koeppel (possible spelling errors mine) Banks around, you’d notice that they’re now under GE Money Bank. We handle the customer service for them, but we handle US accounts. :) Hmm. People Support. I know some people in my batch from there. Apart from that, all I know is the famous blue building. :p So, aside from the IT Dept’s good job of limiting your web pages, how’s things in there in general? *smirks*

  12. dj Says:

hahaha. :) don’t you have any work right now?? me?, we don’t have calls right now. low call volume and we’re happy with that, i mean yesterday i only had 2 calls. isn’t that nice? i’m located at robinson’s summit.

news update about peoplesupport admin, the admin doesn’t want any employees going to work wearing rubber sandals or flip flops. so much for the saying that PS is not that very strict about dress codes. ha! that was then… and just yesterday, my supervisor was reprimanded because he is wearing a new lacoste slippers.

hey, just a thought, don’t you want to work here? :)

  13. jc Says:

TWO calls?? Man, are you guys lucky or what? :) We’re in training right now, which probably explains why the IT Dept is lax on us as well. I just look around for stuff to read on free times to keep me from falling asleep. Rough day yesterday, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if I’d find my nose just a few inches away from the floor later on. :)

Actually, I DID try for PS when I was still fresh out of school and was just checking places to work for. The ONLY reason I wanted to try for PS was because of the dress code policy. THAT explains SO MUCH. Mwahaha. I can’t even remember what happened as to why I didn’t pass. I got through up until the third round, I think. I failed on the listening skills because the guy in front was just too darn hot. Oops. *laughs*

Oh. That’s just so sad about the flip flops. Maybe the management thinks it’s going to damage your call quality. You know, cold-feet-due-to-flip-flops = bad calls. Very logical. Tsk. :)

  14. dj Says:

i think we are lucky, but then again, if we have calls, we have to do hard selling. you see, my account is directv. ever heard about it? we have to sell satellite dishes. our supervisor are pressuring us because our monthly appraisal is near. talk about blackmail. grrrr.

what happened to you yesterday? sorry if i ask a personal question, you have an option to answer it or just ignore it.

a suggestion, if you still like to apply here, you should at least get a two year experience in handling international call to get the higher salary. :) so you will not borrow money from me if ever you are in dire need of it. *laughs* :)

about the flip flops, very logical. hahaha! :)

  15. jc Says:

Yeah, according ot one of my class buds, it’s a relatively easy account. He was cross-trained. It’s just that it’s hardcore sales. I don’t even know if I can sell one to save my life. So I guess I’m partly lucky I’ve been getting only customer service for the past year, although harrassment of some members can be very stressing. It depends on the point of view, I guess. All jobs have its downsides.

Oh yesterday? It wasn’t totally bad, it’s just that we got an apartment recently and I had to run back to my home in Cavite and get some stuff which turned out to be too heavy for me on my way to Alabang. Then we had to go around some malls to pick up kitchen stuff after, so that left us roughly 4 hours of sleep last night. Bad thing is, you know when you get this tired feeling from the other day that gets carried over the next day and you feel you need to have more rest or sleep than the usual? There. So when I woke up for work I was just feeling heavy. It kinda drags you on. Worse news is current room temperature is awfully cold so it doesn’t help so much with the drowse. So now I’m drinking a hot mug of Extra Joss just to see if it’d help. I’m alternating it with soda. Soon I’ll get out of here with diabetes and a wildly palpitating heart. *groans*

  16. dj Says:

sorry for the delay, was out for lunch. you don’t have to worry, every thing can be learned. my first call center experience was in ACS and it was also sales. i remember the first time they told us that we will be under a sales account, i was like, wtf, where are they basing their results that we should be put under a sales account? i don’t have any sales experience before.
    but still, i tried.

    and failed…. hahahaha :)

i know that kind of feeling like you are playing tug of war with your bed. your mind says
“wake up, you still have a training to catch”
    and your bed says
“come on, sleep, i’m soft and you can rest your tired body in me”
“i know you can’t resist me”
but the mind wins cause if you will not go to work,
you will be subjected to disciplinary actions, and you hate getting a memo because you have a name to keep.

hot mug of extra joss?? how does it taste?? i prefer a hot coffee with no sugar. that boosts my system up.

  17. jc Says:

I KNOW! You know, you just try to pull yourself up but the bed just doesn’t let go of you that easy. And sometimes you even get dreams that you’re already doing the routinary stuff you do after you wake up, your body just giving you this lucid dream to trick you into staying longer. Man, you. Are. Good.

Anyhoo, I’m signing off for lunch as well. I’ll get back to you later. It was nice to chat with someone like you to keep me awake half of the time. :) Do you have a blog, btw? You seem to be the person who does write his thoughts online. :)

  18. dj Says:

i used to have one, but then again, i just can’t find enough time to update it. and besides, i already forgot my username and password. talk about partial amnesia. aaaarrrrggghhhh!
it’s frustrating that you always tend to forget some important things in your life, even if you put in a piece of paper. it always seem to find it’s way to the land of “forgotten” or land of “lost things and memories”.
i’ve read about a poem before that was published in “malate” (DLSU’s literary folio) about some things that are lost, i don’t know the exact lines but the author says that he will not commit the same mistake again of putting things in a certain place because sooner or later, it will be lost and you will just forget it somehow, and if you remember it, you will just have a hard time looking for it.
    talk about irony….

so, how’s lunch, hope you are now awake. :)
as usual, we don’t have any calls…
we are one of the highest paid bums in the call center industry!!!!!!

and we love it!!!! :) :)

  19. dj Says:

have to go home after an hour.
i’ll just check again later tonight.
it was nice also chatting with you and keeping me out of boredom.
    thanks.

  20. jc Says:

Hot Extra Joss is like some bad tasting juice on hot water. With 50mg caffeine and 1000mg taurine. Blegh.

I’m awake. A bit. But it’s so damn cold. You pretty much theorize that it’s just that your system’s defenses are down after you wake up, with your stomach not burning anything which is why it’s cold, but it’s almost 40 minutes now and it’s still frigging cold. Sigh.

Anyhow, yeah, that is SO sad. You put things in order to make things easier to find, but when you forget, it doesn’t help that you placed them on the proper positions for convenience, after all, they ARE already lost. Hmm. Thought of the day. :-/ I know Malate, I used to have 3 of their folios. We had communication with them for the reason that I used to write for our own student publication, for a school which happens to be the provincial version of DLSU, :p My favorite was the one with a naked woman on the cover with a blue hue. There’s a story there about a girl whose mum was found dead on muddy waters. I wasn’t able to update my collection, though. Too bad.

Oh, btw. I officially hate you for your job. *jealous, wishing we get only two calls a day as well* Heehee.

  21. jc Says:

Okay. I was doing some assessment test which is why I couldn’t reply. Oh well. Thanks too. See you around. :)

  22. Idetrorce Says:

very interesting, but I don’t agree with you
